I have three roles in a SQL Server 2005 database. Two of them have EXECUTE permissions on all user stored procedures, and one has VIEW DEFINITION permissions on all usps.

DG Ghost scripts created for the usps include two GRANT EXECUTE statements, but no GRANT VIEW DEFINITION statement. Is this a bug, or just functionality that has not yet been added?

Thanks!

Hi Graham,

It looks like this is a deficiency in the SQL 2005 scripting engine - I have added it as a defect and we will incoporate a fix in the new version of the Scripter.

regards,
